JW Anderson has launched his first e-commerce website.

The designer, who also unveiled his spring/summer 2015 menswear collection today (16.06.14), claims the site was a natural step for the label.

He told VOGUE: ''Our database is young and our impact is around social media, so it feels right to be finally embracing our customer in this way.''

Anderson describes the site as having ''an uncomplicated, purist approach'' and it includes current campaign shots, show looks and product images.

The e-commerce site is also going to sell exclusive merchandise and Anderson will manage his own blog, keeping fans up to date on every design and event.

He said: ''We've developed such a strong following over the years that we have turned into a cult brand and our customers have wanted to have something more from us.

''I like this idea when all the aspects of the business are streamed together so that people can see a full demographic. It's so much more personal and, as we're a very open company, it's so important to integrate comment from us.''

Meanwhile, his new collection features sharp tailoring, pin-striped trousers tied at the hip and jackets with cut away back panels.
