U.S. Tv personality Judge Joe Brown is appealing his contempt of court charges following his arrest on Monday (24Mar14).
The former host of Judge Joe Brown spent the night behind bars in Memphis, Tennessee after verbally attacking Juvenile Court Magistrate Harold Horne during a child support hearing.
He was initially sentenced to 24 hours in jail for the count, but that punishment was increased to five days because Brown continued to argue with the magistrate after an initial warning.
Another judge allowed his release from custody on Tuesday (25Mar14), and now the Tv star has formally challenged the charges.
A hearing for his appeal has been set for 4 April (14).
Many ticket-holders couldn't get into the O2 Arena show on Tuesday night (September 19th) because they didn't bring photo ID to match their booking.
An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
