SOPRANOS star JAMIE-LYNN DiSCALA is launching a new foundation to help young girls battling eating disorders.
The 22-year-old actress, whose own triumph over anorexia led her to become a spokeswoman for America's NATIONAL EATING DISORDER ASSOCIATION, has teamed up with her husband AJ DiSCALA to aid those who lack the cash to get help.
She says, "My husband and I are starting a foundation for families who can't afford help for eating disorder patients, because it's not covered by insurance.
"It's so important for these kids' needs. For them to admit they have a problem and not be able to get the help is so heartbreaking to me because I was fortunate enough to see a nutritionist and a therapist."11/11/2003 21:03
