R+B singer WAYMOND ANDERSON could walk free from jail if an appeal against his murder conviction is successful.
The star has spent 13 years in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder of Robert Wellington in 1993. Prosecutors argued the motive was an unpaid drug debt.
But defence lawyers claim Anderson was miles from where the killing took place and have submitted statements from two trial witnesses to say they lied under oath.
Prosecutors now have 120 days to refute the new evidence, otherwise Anderson will be free.
Corgan took to Instagram to confirm rumours of new Pumpkins material, saying the first songs could arrive as early as May.
