Funk group THE TIME's reunion is complete - the original line-up of the band is heading out on tour this summer (10).
The group - one-time proteges of Prince and the villains of his Purple Rain movie - briefly reformed last year (09) for a string of shows in Las Vegas and now the Jungle Love hitmakers are hitting the road.
Shows begin this weekend (29-30May10) in Las Vegas and continue in Chicago, Detroit and Washington, D.C.
Guitarist Jesse Johnson has confirmed the reunited group is also working on a new album.
He tells Spinner.com, "We've been completing (it) over the last couple of months. It's hard to get excited about playing songs that we've already played before, but I'm excited about the new stuff."
He'll be performing a new residency at an intimate theatre.
