Iron Man 3 has been crowned the highest-grossing film of 2013 after raking in $1.2 billion at the global box office.
Robert Downey, Jr.'s latest outing as Tony Stark and his superhero alter-ego easily trumped Despicable Me 2, which claimed second place with $918.4 million (£612.3 million).
Fast & Furious 6 raced into third with a $788.7 million (£525.8 million) haul, while Monsters University ($743.6 million/£495.7 million) and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire ($738.3 million/£492.2 million), which was only released last month (Nov13), placed at four and five, respectively.
Others featured in the end-of-year top 10 countdown include Gravity, Thor: The Dark World and World War Z.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
