Movie industry veteran RICHARD GLASSER has died after experiencing complications following a stroke.
Glasser passed away on 23 February (10) in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke days earlier. He was 50.
The son of film producer Bernard Glasser, he began his career as an independent movie salesman working with film corporations including Penta Pictures, Hemdale and the Samuel Goldwyn Company.
He went on to establish the International Film Office (IFO) in 1991, which represents independent film buyers from across the world.
Glasser is survived by his wife Giovanna and daughters Gabriella, Cati and Elissa.
He'll be performing a new residency at an intimate theatre.
