Ultimate fighter Brock Lesnar has pulled out of his upcoming cage battle with Junior Dos Santos due to an ongoing stomach ailment.
The tough guy was the top draw at the Ufc 131 event in June (11), but he's too ill to train for the big fight.
In a statement released on Thursday (12May11) Lesnar insists, "I'm not retiring... I love this sport."
He tells Tmz.com he may undergo "life changing surgery" to put his health woes behind him. The website reports Lesnar suffers from a digestive disease called diverticulitis and he is currently seeking treatment at the famous Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
Lesnar was hospitalised in 2009 due to his medical condition, and had to reschedule his fight with Shane Carwin, who will now face Junior dos Santos in June.
