A Billy Idol superfan's birthday dream looks set to be finally realised in 2012 after the White Wedding rocker took to the internet to wish his devotee many happy returns.
Michael Henrichsen has spent the last year campaigning to get the Brit to perform at his birthday party via the website Playmybirthdaybillyidol.com.
Unfortunately Idol didn't hear about the desperate plea until it was too late - but he has hinted he might be up for a private show in Seattle, Washington next October (12).
In a video message posted online, Idol says, "Sorry I couldn't make your party this year, but who knows... there's always next year!"
Enterprising Henrichsen, who hosts an annual Billy Idol Aid dance party in Seattle, recruited stars like comedian Kevin Nealon and singer Rick Springfield to help him land a private performance by his idol.
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
