Anthony Goldschmidt, the graphic designer behind some of Hollywood's most iconic movie posters, has died, aged 71.
Goldschmidt passed away at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday (17Jun14), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
His cause of death had not been released as Wenn went to press.
The designer founded Intralink Film Graphic Design in 1979 and went on to produce some of the most recognisable movie posters of all time, including promos for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Thelma & Louise, The Shawshank Redemption, The Perfect Storm and Blade Runner.
Goldschmidt received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Graphic Design and Title Sequences for the 1976 Tv movie Eleanor and Franklin.
