Canadian ice hockey legend Gordie Howe has suffered a second stroke just a week after losing movement in his right arm and leg following a similar health emergency on 26 October (14).

The longtime Detroit Red Wings star, nicknamed Mr. Hockey, was hospitalised in Lubbock, Texas following his first stroke in October and now the 86-year-old Hall of Fame inductee has suffered another attack.

Howe, who has been experiencing a series of small strokes for months, is currently being treated in the intensive care unit at the hospital, according to his son.
