Disgraced British rocker Ian Watkins has been given a boost as he appeals against his 35-year jail sentence for child sex offences.
The former Lostprophets frontman was convicted of a number of sickening charges last year (13), including the attempted rape of a baby, and was ordered to serve at least 29 years behind bars before he can apply for early release.
He subsequently filed an appeal against the lengthy sentence, and now his case is to be heard before a panel of judges.
Watkins will appear at the hearing at Cardiff Crown Court in Wales on 23 July (14) and the judges will decide whether the case can proceed.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
