British comedy actor MATTHEW HORNE has been taken to hospital in London after collapsing onstage during a West End play.
The 30 year old fainted during a Thursday (02Apr09) matinee performance of Entertaining Mr Sloane, and remained motionless for 10 minutes before paramedics arrived to take him to hospital.
According to British newspaper The Sun, Horne's co-star, Oscar-nominee Imelda Staunton apologised to the audience while Horne was being treated, and revealed she too felt unwell.
An audience member tells the publication, "When he fainted there was a long pause and everyone thought it was part of the play, but then we realised something was wrong and it was awful. We were all shocked."
Horne, famous for his role in U.K. TV comedy Gavin & Stacey, was replaced by an understudy for Thursday night's performance.
No further information was available as WENN went to press.
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
