Christian satellite broadcaster Pars-TV, which broadcasts in Farsi and targets Iran from studios in Southern California, announced on Friday that it has begun broadcasting the nine-hour documentary Shoah , after the narration was translated into Farsi by Paris-based Project Aladdin, a UNESCO-supported group that seeks to bridge the cultural gap between Muslims and Jews. The 1985 documentary, 11 years in the making, includes interviews with Holocaust survivors, witnesses, and perpetrators. Project Aladdin said that Turkish and Arabic versions of the documentary are also being prepared.
