Fox News's Hannity and Colmes show will simply become Hannity on January 12 after the cable news network said that it had given up trying to find a liberal sidekick to replace Alan Colmes, who recently announced he is leaving. "In the end, we couldn't replace Alan and the chemistry those two had, the friendship they had," Bill Shine, senior VP programing at Fox News Channel, told the Hollywood Reporter . Shine indicated however that the new show will also feature a panel that will talk about controversial issues from different political perspectives during several segments of each show.
