DEXTER star MICHAEL C. HALL has handed over a special keepsake to the doctor who helped save his life earlier this year (10) - his serial killer character's blood box.
The actor's oncologist helped Hall with his battle against Hodgkin's lymphoma and he was rewarded with a vital prop from the hit show.
Hall tells TV Guide magazine, "I noticed he had his own collection of bone marrow blood slides (and) he was fascinated with the blood slides Dexter has (featuring samples from the character's victims).
"I called our prop guy, who found a box I could give him. The first thing he (doctor) did was put a blood slide of mine in the box."
