Former child star SHIRLEY MILLS HANSON has died at a California hospital, aged 83.
The actress, who played Ruthie Joad in director John Ford's 1940 epic The Grapes of Wrath, died of pneumonia on 31 March (10).
Hanson also appeared in Shirley Temple films Young People and Miss Annie Rooney.
She also worked as a dancer and model.
'Wilson', starring both Dern and Harrelson, is released in U.S. cinemas on March 24th.
