British musician Grant Hutchison is hitting the road for a gruelling cycle ride across the U.K. and Ireland to raise awareness of a rare disease.
The Frightened Rabbit drummer was prompted to take on the 1100-mile (1,770-kilometre) trek after his young niece Morven Hutchison was diagnosed with cystinosis, a rare genetic disorder which drastically reduces life expectancy.
He will head out on the ride on 11 May (14) alongside his brother, Neil, and eight friends, and they aim to visit each of the U.K. and Ireland's regional capitals - London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Dublin and Belfast.
Hutchison says, "My motivation for doing the cycle (ride) is my niece Morven. I have not been a keen cyclist for long but I certainly have the bug now and can't wait to get started."
The teaser promises plenty of scares when 'IT' hits theatres later this year.
The late singer's funeral took place, among a small gathering of close family and friends, on Wednesday in London.
