Major Crimes star Graham Patrick Martin is seeking police help after an imposter posted hateful messages on Twitter.com in his name.
The mystery faker created a profile on the microblogging site in Martin's name and made it appear as his official account.
The user sent more than a hundred vile, insensitive messages to the actor's fans and girlfriend, according to Tmz.com, and Martin is now concerned for his reputation and wants the Los Angeles Police Department to step in.
Officials at Twitter.com shut down the account but a new one has since appeared. Police officers are attempting to trace the imposter.
