George Michael would like to reunite with his former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley for a festival in the near future.
George Michael has hinted at a Wham! reunion.
The 51-year-old singer, one half of 1980s pop duo, admits he's still in contact with his former bandmate Andrew Ridgeley, 51, and would like to team up with him again for a festival in the near future.
Speaking to Mojo magazine, George said: ''He came round and cooked. We were talking about a Wham! reunion at Glastonbury in the fallow year.''
The band went their separate ways in 1986 following five successful years together with dancefloor hits such as 'Tropicana' and 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.'
However, George recently admitted that his biggest regret was parting ways with Andrew.
When asked by Q Magazine what his biggest regret was, he replied: ''Splitting Wham! ... Also, not asking Kate Moss to join.''
Following the split, George went on to have a successful solo career, which has seen him sell more than 100 million albums worldwide, while Andrew has stayed out of the public and now resides in Cornwall with his wife Keren Woodward.
