Music duo Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff are to be presented with a top honour during the upcoming Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony.
The songwriters will receive the Johnny Mercer Award in honour of their career achievements at the event in New York City in June (14).
The songwriting and production team, who worked with stars including Dusty Springfield, The Jacksons and Patti LaBelle, were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1995.
Previous winners of the Johnny Mercer Award include Stevie Wonder and last year's (13) honourees Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
