Former Outlawz rapper Stormey Courtney Coleman has pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend.
The 37 year old was arrested last week (ends14Mar14) and charged with punching his girlfriend in the ear and face three times during an altercation last summer (Jun13). The beating left the woman with temporary hearing loss.
In court in Melbourne, Australia, where he now lives, he pleaded guilty to recklessly causing serious injury, intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault, and was sentenced to serve six days in prison on Monday (17Mar14), according to theage.com. He escaped jail time, however, due to time served following his arrest.
The rapper was also ordered to serve a 12-month community corrections order, complete 150 hours of community service and participate in a violence-prevention programme.
