Filipino TV censors have suspended the country's hit reality show PINOY BIG BROTHER after producers aired footage featuring scantily-clad women and contestants kissing.
Bosses at the Philippines' Movie Television Review And Classification Board have blasted the producers for airing the footage, which they insist was "not suitable for television viewing".
Board chairman MARIA CONSOLIZA LAGUARDIA (corr) says the censors found, "a kissing scene between housemates..., gyrating dances in skimpy bikinis, double entendre dialogue," to be beyond the parental guidance classification."
As a result of the reprimand, last night's (25SEP05) showing of Big Brother didn't air. The programme is expected to continue next week (02OCT05).
