YouTube sensation Talia Castellano has lost her battle with cancer at the age of 13.
The fashion-forward teen, who launched her own clothing line and became an honorary model for make-up brand CoverGirl, passed away on Tuesday (16Jul13).
Castellano first shot to fame by hosting make-up tutorials on YouTube and won a fan in comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, who invited her to host segments on her daily Tv show in America.
Fans learned of her death via a post on her Facebook.com page, which read: "It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time."
Upon hearing the sad news, DeGeneres tweeted, "This year I met a very special girl, and today we lost her. Sending my heart to Talia's family. I'm so sad."
