The Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards were handed out at a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday (12Jan13). The previously announced prizes included trophies for French film Amour (Best Picture) and Paul Thomas Anderson (Best Director), while Joaquin Phoenix landed the Best Actor title for his role in Anderson's The Master. Best Actress was a tie between Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook) and Emmanuelle Riva (Amour).
The film is almost half an hour longer than 'The Force Awakens'.
