Apparently the half-hour interruption of Sunday night's Super Bowl game did not result in a mass exodus of viewers to other programming. What many of those viewers did instead was ... tweet. According to TheVerge.com, the power outage generated 231,000 tweets per minute, well above Jacoby Jones's record-tying 108-yard kickoff return (it was originally described as 109 yards, which would have established a new record) at the start of the second half, with 185,000 tweets per minute, edging out the conclusion of the game -- 183,000. But all of those tweets related to the game itself were surpassed by the 268,000 tweets per second that were touched off during Beyoncé's remarkable halftime show.
