Motown legend LAMONT DOZIER is facing a massive tax bill in the U.S. over allegations he owes more than $1.3 million (£866,600).
Internal Revenue Service (IRS) bosses filed a tax lien against the songwriter, who formed part of the formidable Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team, at the Clark County Recorder's office in Nevada in September (10).
The papers, obtained by The Detroit News, claim the star and his wife Barbara owe $1,359,387 (£906,258).
Dozier and his wife have previously been in trouble over their tax affairs - a lien was filed against them by officials in California in 2004, over claims they owed $2.57 million (£1.7 million).
