Swedish singer/Dj Basshunter failed to appear in court on Wednesday (20Apr11) over allegations he assaulted two women after a concert.
The Now You're Gone hitmaker - real name Jonas Altberg - is alleged to have grabbed two women and pushed them both towards his private parts in separate incidents at a nightclub in Kirkcaldy, Scotland last December (10).
He appeared at a court in January (11) and denied two charges of sexual assault, and was due back before a sheriff on Wednesday ahead of the trial date next month (May11).
But Altberg failed to attend the hearing amid confusion over whether he was expected in court. The star's bail was extended and he was ordered to attend the next scheduled hearing in May (11).
'Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)' arrives in April.
The two awards have made for a great 72nd birthday present for the country music icon.
