New TV disaster movie LANDSLIDE was shelved last night (11SEP05) by network bosses at America's Hallmark cable channel, because they feared some scenes would upset those traumatised by Hurricane Katrina.
In a statement, TV bosses said the film was postponed "out of respect for the victims of Hurricane Katrina" because "story elements" were "vaguely and uncomfortably similar" to the disaster.
There's no plan to air the TV movie in the upcoming weeks.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
Rock legend Eric Clapton has admitted the era of the guitar may be ''over''.
Following his success with 'The Force Awakens', the director will close out the trilogy.
