Horror film director Philip Marshak has died, aged 80.
Marshak passed away on Sunday night (27Jul14) at his Los Angeles home following a long battle with leukaemia, diabetes and heart disease.
Marshak started his Hollywood career as an actor, but made his mark in the industry as the director of cult 1970s and 1980s horror films like Dracula Sucks, Cataclysm and Night Train to Terror.
He is survived by wife Pamela, and their three children.
