Plans to film a re-enactment of the murder of DARRELL 'DIMEBAG' ABBOTT have been blocked by the late guitarist's family. Abbott was gunned down while on stage with his band DAMAGEPLAN on 8 December 2004 during a performance in Columbus, Ohio. Gunman Nathan Gale shot Abbott five times and killed three other people. Showbiz TV network E! wanted to recreate the murder for upcoming show 25 MOST CHILLING HOLLYWOOD MURDERS - but Abbott's family have no intention of allowing his last moments to be revisited in a dramatisation. A representative of the family says, "The answer is no, and on behalf of everyone that was there that night and everyone who misses him every day, you can take that no and shove it up your collective a**es."
