Ncis star David Fisher has pleaded not guilty to a charge of felony battery following an alleged altercation with his neighbour in September (11).
The British actor is accused of hitting out at another resident in his Los Angeles apartment block after they reportedly clashed over wet towels which had been hung out to dry.
Fisher was arrested after he allegedly attacked the neighbour, before the unidentified male escaped his grip and called police.
The star was placed behind bars on $50,000 (£31,250) bail, while his alleged victim was taken to a local hospital.
Fisher spoke out soon after the clash insisting he acted in "self-defence" and claimed he's "not a violent person".
Now he has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanour charge, reports Tmz.com.
The actor is due back in court next month (Dec11).
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
Rock legend Eric Clapton has admitted the era of the guitar may be ''over''.
Following his success with 'The Force Awakens', the director will close out the trilogy.
