Veteran British Dj Dave Lee Travis has been charged with 12 sex attacks on nine young women in a catalogue of abuse dating back 30 years.
The former Radio 1 star, 68, is accused of 11 indecent assaults on females aged between 15 and 29, and one charge of sexual assault on a 23-year-old woman, between 1977 amd 2007.
He was first held by police officers back in November (12) after allegations were made about him to cops probing claims against late presenter Jimmy Savile.
In March (13), Travis was arrested and quizzed about a string of new sex abuse allegations, and on Thursday (15Aug13), the U.K.'s Crown Prosecution Service announced he is to be charged with 12 sex offences.
The broadcaster, nicknamed the Hairy Monster, was a stalwart on the Bbc's flagship Radio 1 station from the 1960s to the 1990s.
