Actress Daniele Watts has pleaded not guilty to a charge of misdemeanour lewd conduct.
The Django Unchained star and her boyfriend, Brian James Lucas, were hit with the count following a police encounter in September (14), when she was allegedly caught in the front seat of her car, straddling her partner with her breasts exposed.
Watts and Lucas have both maintained their innocence, with the black actress claiming she had been a victim of racial profiling - allegations cops denied.
The couple did not attend a Los Angeles court hearing on Tuesday (27Jan15), when an attorney for the pair entered not guilty pleas on its behalf.
Watts and Lucas face up to six months behind bars if convicted of the lewd conduct charges.
Their next court date has been set for 23 February (15).
