Thrash rockers D.R.I. have cancelled their European tour after guitarist Spike Cassidy injured his finger.

The band was due to kick off the run of shows in Bremen, Germany on 26 July (13), but they have now axed the gigs due to Cassidy's injury.

Reports suggest he is suffering from tendinitis, a condition which cases inflammation of the tendons.

A statement from booking agency M.A.D. Tourbooking reads, "The guitar player of D.R.I. has huge problems with his finger, he can't bend it anymore, so he's unable to play guitar... We wish him all the best and hope that he gets well soon!"
