A crew member on now-defunct Tv series Vegas has filed a lawsuit after she was injured in an onset accident.

Andrea Krout was working as a dolly grip on Dennis Quaid's short-lived drama series last year (13) when her thumb was crushed and nearly torn off while she was operating a filming crane.

She has now filed a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the equipment, claiming the accident occurred because it was faulty.

According to Tmz.com, Krout wants bosses at the company to pay for her medical expenses and hand over compensation for her pain and suffering.

Vegas was cancelled in 2013 after one series.
