Country singer Chris Lane created his own magical moment for a loved-up couple when he turned a proposal into the video for his new song For Her.
Instead of faking an engagement, Lane sought out a fan who wanted to ask his girl to marry him and invited him to be a part of his new promo.
"I wanted to have a real life, genuine love story, and this is the real deal," Lane said.
He recruited a fan named Brandon, who surprised his girlfriend Connie with a ring when she thought she was joining a pal on a video shoot as part of a competition prize.
The surprise proposal went down as planned and now features in the For Her video.
"I’m truly honoured to have this story as part of my video," the singer tells Entertainment Tonight. "The whole process was top secret. I couldn't even Snapchat certain things on set! But watching Connie’s reaction when Brandon broke out into singing and then the proposal, you knew she had no idea it was coming. Her friends did a great job all day of keeping the secret."
