Former AUSTRALIAN IDOL contestant RICKIE-LEE COULTER has disappointed fans by quitting her band the YOUNG DIVAS.
The 21-year-old singer, who appeared on the reality TV talent contest in 2004, has parted ways with the all-girl group to concentrate on her solo career.
She says, "I will not be appearing any more with the Young Divas.
"I just couldn't do it all - I really had to get back to doing what I love doing, and that's my solo career."
But she insists the split is amicable: "The girl's have been great, they understand completely. They know where I'm coming from."
Coulter formed the Young Divas in 2006 with fellow Australian Idol contestants Paulini Curuenavuil, Emily Williams and Kate DeAraugo.
The 1969 session, including the only known recording of 'Sunshine Woman' by the band, will be included on a re-issue of 'The Complete BBC Sessions'...
