Incarcerated rapper T.I.'s wife Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle is recovering after undergoing multiple surgeries to treat two hernias.
The former Xscape singer was recently hospitalised after complaining of severe pain in her lower abdomen.
Doctors had to perform four separate operations to fix the problem.
But Cottle insists she is now doing well and is resting at home in Atlanta, Georgia.
She tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "I was wondering, 'When is this (pain) going to ease up?' But this time, it's better. I don't have to take medicine no more."
T.I. is expected to be released in September (11) after serving a 10-month prison sentence for a probation violation.
The '12 Years A Slave' director will receive the accolade at the London Film Festival in October.
Critics from all over the world were asked to name the best movie of the past 16 years.
