Disney movie BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA has held on to the topspot at the U.S. box office for a second week, after raking in $17.5 million (GBP9.6million).
The animated film, featuring the voices of Drew Barrymore, Jamie Lee Curtis and Andy Garcia, beat off competition from horror film Quarantine, which took in $14.2 million (GBP7.7million) in its debut weekend.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe's Body of Lies came in third, making $13.1 million (GBP7.1million).
Rounding out the top five are Shia LaBeouf's thriller Eagle Eye, falling from second to fourth with $11 million (GBP5.9million) and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, which took $6.5 million (GBP3.5million) after its two-week run.
