The iconic pop star was presented with the award at Monday night's (08.11.10) Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in New York in recognition of the work she has done to help improve the lives of Kenyan orphans.
Accepting the accolade at New York's Carnegie Hall, she joked: "You have no idea how non-glamorous I am when I wake up. I walk around in sweatpants and Ugg boots. I don't care."
The 'Believe' singer - who is soon to appear opposite Christina Aguilera in new movie 'Burlesque' - also recently admitted her recently-divorced co-star has the potential to go far in the world of acting.
