Voice actor Peter Robbins has been arrested in San Diego, California.
The 56 year old, who is best known for voicing animated Peanuts character Charlie Brown, was taken into custody at the San Ysidro Port of Entry in the early hours of Monday morning (21Jan13) after a background check turned up an active warrant for his arrest.
The star is facing a total of five felony charges, including one count of stalking and another for making a threat to cause death or great bodily injury.
He is being held on $550,000 (£343,750) bond and is due to be arraigned on Wednesday (23Jan13), according to local publication San Diego Union Tribune.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
