U.S. radio personality Casey Kasem's daughter has filed papers to make her conservator of her father's healthcare following claims his wife has stopped his three children from visiting the star as he battles Parkinson's disease.
Kerri, Julie and Mike Kasem have been locked in a bitter feud with his wife Jean, who is accused of not allowing the siblings to visit their dad for three months.
They warned their stepmother than they would file legal action if she did not open up her home for visits, and now Julie, 38, has filed for a conservatorship that would put her in charge of her dad's medical needs.
A hearing has been scheduled for 15 October (13). In the documents filed, Julie claims her father is unable to attend as he is bed=bound by his illness.
The BBC drama starring Aidan Turner returns to BBC One on September 4th.
