British rapper ROMEO must be retried on assault charges after a jury failed to reach a verdict against him.
The SO SOLID CREW star is charged with a grievous bodily harm and violent disorder and is alleged to be part of a mob who attacked EJAY ARMSTRONG in central London in August last year (04).
Romeo - real name MARVIN DAWKINS - and other defendant THOMAS ENGOLA both face retrials. Romeo's brother JULIAN DAWKINS and DARREN MOORE were cleared of all charges against them.
All four men were found not guilty, by direction of Southwark Crown Court Judge PAUL DODGSON, on a further count of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.30/06/2005 01:50
