British actress Clare Cathcart has died at the age of 48.
The star passed away at her home in Brighton, England on Thursday (04Sep14).
A statement from her representative reads, "It is with huge sadness that we have to report the death of our beloved friend and client Clare Cathcart. Clare was brilliant, fearless and funny; a wonderful actor who we are immensely proud to have represented...
"Without her razor-sharp wit and glorious laugh the world will seem a darker place. We will miss her enormously."
Cathcart began her acting career on U.K. Tv medical drama series Casualty in 1996 and went on to star in shows including The Life and Adventures of Nick Nickleby, Doctors and Call the Midwife.
Paying tribute to Cathcart, English actress Miranda Hart writes on Twitter, "Reeling from closer to home news of Clare Cathcart. Had the privilege of some serious laughing with her on call the midwife (sic). A ball of joy."
Actor Charlie Condou adds, "One of the most beautiful people I've known. A 20 year friendship I'll treasure forever. I love you Clare Cathcart".
Cathcart's cause of death has not been revealed.
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
