LATEST: Brazil's Live Earth concert is back on after organisers persuaded a judge to reconsider an injunction blocking the event. The promoters behind the global warming awareness gig convinced Rio de Janeiro's prosecutors to revoke the injunction after coming up with a new set of security plans on Thursday (05Jul07). A judge ordered organisers to halt the free Copacabana Beach concert on Wednesday (04Jul07) because local police couldn't guarantee the safety of the millions of fans expected to attend. The suspension was later lifted when organisers obtained a police guarantee that there would be adequate security at the event. Performers including Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams and MACy Gray have been lined up to play on the beach. Brazil's show is the only free public event of all the Live Earth concerts taking place around the world on Saturday (07Jul07).
