Boxing star Jermain Taylor is facing more than 20 years behind bars after he was charged with shooting his cousin at his Arkansas home in August (14).
The current International Boxing Federation Middleweight Champion was slapped with felony counts of battery and making terrorist threats on Wednesday (19Nov14), almost three months after Taylor's wife called police to report a shooting on their property.
At the time of the 26 August (14) incident, the 36 year old claimed self-defence, insisting the man was an intruder, but he was subsequently identified as his cousin, Tyrone DaWayne Hinton, who survived the attack.
If convicted, Taylor could be sentenced to a maximum of 26 years.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
