Boxing champ Kelly Pavlik faces an early 2012 court date after pleading not guilty to charges of operating an all-terrain vehicle while drunk.
The former middleweight champion was arrested on 22 December (11) at his home in Ohio after a neighbour called local police and reported the boxer had driven an Atv into a lamppost.
Cops report the fighter, who spent two weeks at the Betty Ford Clinic in California for alcohol-related issues in January (11), was "very intoxicated" and swore at the arresting officer. He failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
A pre-trial hearing has been set for 13 January (12).
