Hip hop star and actor Bow Wow is reportedly set to host his own late night talk show.
The Like You hitmaker, real name Shad Moss, hosted BET's 106 & Park music video show from 2013 to 2014 and he reveals he is bringing a new series to the small screen, on which he hopes to interview the likes of rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, retiring basketball star Kobe Bryant, and U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.
"First time people saw me was on (the) Arsenio Hall show (in 1993)," he writes on Instagram.com. "So its (sic) only right i go back to where it started...
"I been (sic) quietly working on a project that i felt was needed. When i hosted 106 i knew then i could do whatever (talent wise) but i did not own 106 i had little control and i gots (sic) to be the man because im (sic) a creator... But i learned so much to the point i will have my own late night show coming. I get to run my own show content etc..."
Bow Wow goes on to insist his show will be different from everything currently available for viewers, suggesting it will appeal more to fans of hip-hop.
"Wont (sic) be like ANYTHING ON TV," he continues. "Its (sic) going to be a show YOU HAVE TO WATCH. Music will play an important key to the show. I felt i HAD to do this. Theres (sic) no platform for hip hop artist no more."
"Where my guest could be Kendrick lamar w (with) j cole performing live," he adds. "To having Michelle Obama on. I found my stride. I want to help the culture and this is my way of giving back to the game that made me! Ps.. I WANT MY FIRST GUEST TO BE NONE OTHER THAN LAKER LEGEND KOBE BRYANT! i want to kixk (sic) the show off w him."
Specific details about the show have yet to be released.
The youngster hasn't been the same since his trip to the Upside Down.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
