Boston Marathon Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Has Been Sentenced To Death.
The terrorist was found guilty of all 30 counts in the sick 2013 attack, 17 of which, including bombing a public place and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction resulting in death, carried the death sentence.
The bombings at the end of the race left three dead and 260 injured.
The jury took just over three days to reach an agreement on sentencing Tsarnaev, reaching a decision on Friday (15May15) and ignoring pleas the 21 year old was a kid who fell under the influence of his fanatical older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed during a shoot-out with police following a manhunt for the siblings.
Tsarnaev will be executed by lethal injection on a date to be decided following the unanimous death penalty decision.
